Tom Scurlock

Co-Founder · Writer · Producer

Tom Scurlock

Tom is a Washington, D.C.–based screenwriter with Ohio roots, working across thriller, horror, and comedy. A former journalist who spent more than two decades covering college sports, he brings a sharp eye for character, conflict, and the pressure that reveals who people really are.

His work often features neurodiverse characters and unexpected perspectives. His teleplay Spectrum placed in the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition and the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards. His screenplay Thief of Hearts won the Festigious Los Angeles Monthly Film Competition and was a semifinalist at the Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival.

Dan Frank

Co-Founder · Writer · Producer

Dan Frank

Dan is a writer and producer whose storytelling draws on a career in the U.S. Navy, the experience of building a business from the ground up, and a lifetime of remarkable people and unexpected adventures.

His screenplays explore redemption, resilience, family, humor, and the surprising connections that bring people together. From Maryland’s Eastern Shore to worlds rarely seen on screen, Dan looks for stories that feel discovered rather than invented—and that stay with audiences long after the credits roll.

Steve Brazell

Co-Founder · Strategy · Development

Steve Brazell

Steve is a builder, entrepreneur, and strategic operator with more than 30 years of experience turning ideas into companies. He built Hitman Inc. from the ground up into a multimillion-dollar business, completed multiple exits, and has helped partners launch and sell companies and products collectively valued at nearly $1 billion.

At 3 Lens, Steve brings the same instinct for positioning, audience, and execution to original film and television projects. He helps shape ideas into clear, compelling creative properties—and builds the strategy, presentation, and partnerships needed to move them forward.
